Govt to implement satellite-based toll system, says Gadkari: Difference vs FASTag explained
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways introduced a GNSS-based toll collection system for select highways to improve efficiency. Minister Nitin Gadkari announced pilot studies in Karnataka and Haryana. An international workshop and global EOI were conducted for industrial participation. Initially, FASTag and GNSS will function together.
